Refund & Return Policy for Website Shop
Refund and return policy:
- Any return must be logged within 7 days of the item being bought or delivered, whichever is later.
- You must be able to provide proof of purchase.
- The item must be in a re-sellable condition except in the case of damaged or faulty items.
- The item must qualify as an item that can be returned. See non-returnable items below.
Payment for delivery and collection of returned products:
- Should a product be damaged or defective at the time of delivery, the cost of delivery and collecting the product from you and replacing such a product shall be for our account.
- Should a product not be wanted, or the incorrect product was ordered, or the product be returned or exchanged and not be defective, the cost of the delivery to you, and collection of such product from you, shall be for your account.
- The courier appointed by BFDS is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport. (Courier Guy / Fast Way)
Defective products
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality and without defects.
What is a defect?
A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear and or damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product and or damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product and or damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product;
- Where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you;

Exchanges
- The user may exchange products for a different size, colour, style etc. The costs of returning the product and exchanging same would be borne by the user.
- Any exchanges will be subject to the same requirements for returns.

Refunds
We’ll inspect your return and notify you via email about approval or rejection within 5 Business days of receipt.
We are entitled to refuse a return if the unwanted product is returned:
- Damaged,
- Not in a re-saleable condition
- Missing any accessories
- Has been used
- Not returned in original packaging
Non-returnable and non-refundable items:
- Food, treats, or snacks.
- Treatment products such as Tick & Flea tablets and sprays (except where the expiry date on the item precedes the delivery date).
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Items on sale.
- Items from the bargain bin.
Best Friends Dog School Online Shop, sells premium pet products online. The use of any product bought from this website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds Best Friends Dog School harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Best Friends Dog School Online Shop website.
